Health & safety support

As a leading distributor of fuels and lubricants, we recognise the impact these activities would have without a strong health and safety culture. We’re committed to supplying energy responsibly and safely while providing a safe place to work for our colleagues, our contractors, local communities and the environment by:

  • Reducing and eliminating risk in the workplace so far as is reasonably practicable through monitoring our performance and implementation of best practice
  • Implementing initiatives across the group to ensure the health, safety and mental wellbeing of our employees
  • Committing to the continual improvement of the suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of the occupational health and safety management system

Mental wellbeing support

It’s equally as important to look after our colleagues’ mental wellbeing. That’s why we run regular mental health and wellbeing sessions for our staff.

We’re also a member of the Health Assured Employee Benefits Programme. This gives our colleagues free access to mental health services, including a 24-hour helpline, counselling services and the My Health Advantage app which has a wide range of resources available.

The Health Assured Employee Benefits programme complements Mental Health sessions that are run internally for anyone who wishes to join.

Many of our colleagues feel passionately about charities and organisations which is why we encourage everyone to get involved. We even have a Charity Committee that is dedicated to providing support to local groups and societies.
