Fuelling Responsibly for Future Generations

At Crown Oil, we want to do the right thing, from being the first UK fuel distributor to be certified carbon neutral to running our entire fleet on HVO fuel. We’re passionate about fuelling responsibly and are committed to implementing effective carbon-reducing solutions at every level of our business.

There is no hiding from the fact that we supply fossil fuels. We feel this gives us a greater responsibility than most when it comes to protecting the environment. Aiming for net-zero by 2030 is both a brave and bold move but one that proves our commitment to doing what is right for both our business and the planet.

The UK’s First Carbon Neutral Fuel Supplier

In April 2022, we became the first UK fuel company to be certified carbon neutral in line with PAS 2060 standards. By running our fleet on HVO, reducing our avoidable emissions and offsetting those which we cannot reduce or avoid, we have reduced our Scope 1 emissions by 87% (2021/22). To ensure transparency, we partnered with an external third party to validate our carbon neutral achievement and commitments.
